           Cattlemen Making a Difference

Cattlemen for Cancer Research benefits the Michale E. Keeling Center for Comparative Medicine and Research which is part of the UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  The October 4, 2008 event was our 10th anniversary and we acheived our goal this year to reach having raised one million dollars in ten years.  At the CCR event we have a large silent auction and cattle auction. With the proceeds of the auction, CCR funds research and a patient assistance fund that is kept at the hospital in Houston.
